The Jewish-studies program at YSU focuses on Jewish history, culture, and politics. While we do not prepare students for any specific career, we also know that having deep, experiential knowledge of Jewish life can position students, whether they are Jewish or not, for employment with Jewish institutions or to work more sensitively with Jewish communities and clients.
