The Center for Judaic and Holocaust Studies at Youngstown State University is dedicated to teaching and promoting research on all aspects of Jewish culture, religion, politics, and history. The program emphasizes the experience of the Jewish people during the Holocaust and the proliferation of anti-Semitism in the contemporary world. To that end, the Center promotes lessons of tolerance and genocide prevention. It also emphasizes Israel education in all its facets. The Center offers community outreach and educational programs connected to the study of Judaism and the Jewish experience.
